Kudrin: It Is Important to Double the Number of Enterprises Working for Export
The EAEU should double the number of enterprises working for export. This was stated by the chairman of the Board of the Center for Strategic Research Alexei Kudrin at the 12th international conference "Eurasian Integration: Stagnation or Development?" held today, on October 31, in Moscow, with the support of the Eurasian Development Bank.
"Globalization has slowed down after the crisis of 2008. But despite some slowdown of globalization the political globalization will increase," he said, noting that from national factories we will gradually move on to the world as a factory in which the exchange of technologies and data will increase.
Speaking about the participation of the EAEU in global economic integration, Kudrin stressed the need to ensure appropriate economic growth. "We need to have our place in these global chains. If Russia and the EAEU aim to increase the economic growth, it means we should increase the exchange with external players," he said.
To achieve the planned economic growth, it is necessary to unite the trade relations, reduce exemptions, simplify customs control, etc.
