President of Lebanon: the Coalition Government will Remain in Power
The national consensus, which allowed the creation of a coalition government a year ago in Lebanon, remains effective, said Lebanese President Michel Aoun.
This is reported by the Tass news agency referring to the newspaper Daily Star.
According to him, "the campaign of solidarity with Prime Minister Saad Hariri and the general demand for his immediate return to his homeland led to positive results."
As the head of the republic noted, "Hariri's recent statement about his readiness to abandon the decision to leave his post says that the coalition cabinet will remain in power and the crisis will be settled." "I am very glad to hear that the Prime Minister intends to return to Beirut soon, and we will clarify with him all the problems that have arisen and find suitable solutions," Aoun said.
