Open Lessons in RA National Assembly
On November 14, within the framework of the RA NA Open Doors programme the lecturers and students of Yerevan State Humanitarian-Technical College visited the parliament. The guests took a tour in the parliament building, observed the work of the sittings, official page of RA National Assembly reports.
The RA NA Vice President conducted the open lesson that had already become traditional. Welcoming the guests in the National Assembly the NA Vice President presented the order of the formation of the legislative power, its activities, and touched upon the economic problems of the country. Eduard Sharmazanov emphasized the participation of the youth in the public and political life of the state and advised the students to study well and aspire to become professional specialists.
The RA NA Vice President answered the students' questions which related to the economic growth, the RA state debt, the Artsakh problem, emigration and preservation of the national identity. The NA Vice President urged the young people not to go away from their Armenian roots, serve their knowledge for the prosperity of the Motherland. "You are a happy generation because you live in the independent Republic of Armenia," the RA NA Vice President summed up.
On the same day, within the framework of the RA National Assembly Open Doors programme the lecturers and students of Vanadzor Tumanyan State University and National Polytechnic University of Armenia, Vanadzor Branch visited the parliament.
The guests took a tour in the parliament building, observed the debate process of the draft laws.
The Head of the RA NA RPA Faction Vahram Baghdasaryan conducted the regular open lesson. The Head of the Faction presented the steps being taken in Armenia after the constitutional reforms and the works of the legislation harmonisation. In his word, the parliament is the venue where the political forces, disputing with each other, could find the solutions of the issues concerning different spheres. He particularly noted that about 150 legislative amendments should be made until April 2018. Touching upon the four parliamentary factions Vahram Baghdasaryan underlined that the role of opposition in the parliament had essentially increased.
During the unembarrassed talk the students addressed their questions to Vahram Baghdasaryan, which especially related to the social-economic problems and the inner-political situation. The Head of the Faction referred to the problem of the reconstruction of the adjacent territory road of Vanadzor N 30 kindergarten, underlining that he would follow the provision of the qualitative standards.
