Russia Supports Armenians more than Azerbaijanis: Head of Azerbaijan's Russian Community
The leader of Azerbaijan's Russian community, Member of Azerbaijani parliament Mikhail Zabelin at the meeting with Leonid Kalashnikov, the head of the committee on Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots, said that Azerbaijan is most concerned about relations with Russia.
"Young people, journalists often ask me why Russia supports Armenians more than the Azerbaijanis," Zabelin said.
As RusArmInfo reports, he also noted that the largest Russian community in the South Caucasus (about 120 thousand people) lives in Azerbaijan.
