Artifacts of 8th–7th Centuries BC Were Found in Artsakh

While implementing road construction works ’’Artsakhughi” company found a mausoleum and a few potteries in Ashan, Martuni region, Artsakhpress reports.
The Deputy Director of ’’The State Service for the Protection of Historical Environment’’ NCSO, Nzdeh Yeranyan, said that excavation works were carried out on the site. The artifacts found in the mausoleum date back to 8th–7th centuries BC. Pottery was transported to ’’The State Service for the Protection of Historical Environment’’ fund.
