Turkey Says Has "Neutralized" 260 Militants in Syria

At least 260 militants of the People’s Protection Units (YPG), Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) have been "neutralized" since the beginning of "Operation Olive Branch" in Syria, Turkish General Staff said, Hurriyet reports.
In a statement, the military said Turkey is carrying out the operation under international law and Article 51 of the U.N. Charter and respecting Syrian territorial integrity, state-run Anadolu Agency reported.
It also said the number of Turkish casualties increased to three after a soldier was killed during clashes with militants during the operation. It added one soldier was also injured in the clash.
