Azerbaijani "Thief in Law" Kidnaps Armenians and Ukrainians in Ukraine
The National Police of Ukraine is concerned over the growing influence of Azerbaijani "thief in law" Nadir Salifov (known as Lotu Guli) on local criminal circles, News.am reports, referring to Sputnik Azerbaijan.
According to him, after serving his sentence in prison for 25 years, Nadir Salifov settled in Turkey and started to gather around him a criminal circle, at the same time spreading his influence in Ukraine.
"Immediately after his release, representatives of different nationalities (Armenians, Ukrainians), who were engaged in trade in the vegetable market in Ukraine, were kidnapped. Nadir Salifov is a very modern criminal who receives ransom by bitcoins’’, First Deputy Head of Ukrainian Police Vyacheslav Abroskin said.
The policeman noted that Salifov is trying to take the greenhouse markets in the CIS countries because it’s very profitable.
According to Abroskin, Salifov demands one million dollars and more for the release of captives.
