The US Is Increasing Its Military Presence in Asia

The Pentagon is considering several plans as a response to China’s growing influence, including the possible deployment of marines in East Asia, the Wall Street Journal reported citing military personnel, voiceofpeopletoday.com reports.
According to the publication, at the moment there are 50,000 military men in Japan, including 18,000 marines, another 29,500 troops in South Korea and about seven thousand in Guam.
