"The Danube Will Change its Course Rather Than Pan-Turkism Will Achieve its Goal'', Sharmazanov

On May 25,  the vice-speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, head of the Friendship group Armenia – Slovakia, Eduard Sharmazanov, accompanied by the head of the friendship group Slovakia – Armenia D. Tutela, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of RA in the Slovak Republic, Seyranyan, the Ambassador of Russia, A. Fedotov laid a wreath commemorating victims of the Armenian Genocide khachkar on the banks of the Danube, honoring the memory of the SV.Martyrs, NA press-service reports.

The NA vice-speaker in his speech touched upon the point of view expressed by the Turkish Parliament President Ismail Kagraman that the Artsakh issue is also a problem of Turkey and the Cyprus issue is Azerbaijan's.

"Turkey and Azerbaijan not only do not abandon the policy of denial, but also promote pan-Turkism and hatred towards Armenians. Rather, the Danube will change its course than pan-Turkism will achieve its goal''.
