David Lynch Says Trump "Could Go Down as One of the Greatest Presidents in History"
Twin Peaks creator David Lynch has revealed that he thinks Donald Trump "could go down as one of the greatest presidents in history", The Independent reports.
In an interview with The Guardian, Lynch said that he could become significant for successfully disrupting the political system.
"He could go down as one of the greatest presidents in history because he has disrupted the thing so much," says Lynch. "No one is able to counter this guy in an intelligent way."
However he didn't seem entirely sold on Trump as a leader.
The 72-year-old filmmaker proceeded to criticise the most powerful individuals in the US government saying: "Our so-called leaders can’t take the country forward, can’t get anything done. Like children, they are. Trump has shown all this."
