State of Emergency to Probably be Extended for Another Month- Aysor.am
The Commandant’s office is discussing the issue on extending the state of emergency, Vahan Hunanyan, spokesperson of commandant Tigran Avinyan, told Aysor.am.
"Now we are discussing the possibility of extending the state of emergency as the circumstances which resulted in declaring state of emergency still exist," Hunanyan said.
He said currently they cannot tell exactly for how long the state of emergency will be extended.
"More probably it will be extended for another month," Avinyan’s spokesperson said.
Asked whether the spheres that opened recently will again be closed and whether there is any decision about it, Hunanyan said that the decisions on toughening the restrictions or easing them are based on developments and analyses.
"If we see that there are issues in any of the sectors and there is a need to toughen the restrictions, corresponding decision is being made, if not the measures are being eased. As of the moment there is no such sector. In case of necessity we will make the decision and inform about it," Hunanyan said.
The state of emergency was declared till May 14.
