Armenia’s PM Urges Azerbaijani President Demonstrate Constructive Approach
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated today in the video conference of the leaders of the Eastern Partnership.
As Aysor.am reports, during the conference, Armenia’s PM referred to the baseless statement of the Azerbaijani president who he said is distorting facts.
In particular, Nikol Pashinyan stressed the racist policy of Azerbaijani authorities carried out till now bringing as an example the glorification of Ramil Safarov who murdered with an ax Armenian officer Gurgen Margarya in his sleep in Hungary.
Pashinyan stressed that the people of Nagorno Karabakh are firm in their wish to build their own future and are ready to defend their security by adequate response to any encroachment.
The head of the government again urged the Azerbaijani president to demonstrate constructive approach and eventually agree publicly to previously forwarded formula that is any settlement of the Artsakh issue must be acceptable for the peoples of Artsakh, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
