Armenia President Prize is Рenamed Boghossian
Taking into consideration the legislative changes in Armenia regarding state awards and prizes, the President Prize of the Republic of Armenia has been renamed The Boghossian Prize, the latter’s information team informed.
Currently, the rebranding of the Prize items is underway.
The Boghossian Foundation, initiator of the Prize set up in 2000, will continue to finance the annual event which will continue to be administrated by the Hayastan [(Armenia)] All Armenian Fund.
The awards ceremony will take place at the residence of the President of the Republic of Armenia and prizes given by President of Armenia and the representative of the Boghossian Foundation.
As previously announced, the 2020 award ceremony has been postponed due to the ongoing pandemic and is expected to take place sometime in the autumn of 2020.
The 2020 winners will be awarded the Boghossian Prize. 61 applications for the 8 main categories of the prize and 116 applications for the Youth Prize are still valid.
