We Had no Shortage of Weapons in April 2016: Serzh Sargsyan

In the days of the April 2016 war, Armenia did not have a shortage of weapons, Armenia ex-president Serzh Sargsyan told Wednesday's briefing, News.am reports.

According to him, not only in April 2016, but all the Armed Forces are always in need of better, more modern weapons.

"It is obvious. But in April 2016, for the first time, we used as many weapons as the commanders found necessary. There was no shortage. There were issues with some less modern ones, but this was not a hindrance to victorious actions," he said.

"Yes, we did not have, and for a long time will not have all the most modern weapons. But we carried out the task with the always available weapons. And I am sure that it will be so," Sargsyan added.
