Armenia MOD Has no Information About Death of Azerbaijan Soldier - news.am
The Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Armenia has no information about the death of an Azerbaijani soldier.
"As for the adversary’s casualty, we do not have such information. At the same time, we have repeatedly stated that the lack of mechanisms for risk reduction on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is unacceptable and contributes to tension," said MOD spokesperson Shushan Stepanyan, commenting, at the request of Armenian News-NEWS.am, on Azerbaijani media reports.
According to these reports, Azerbaijani soldier Elshan Mammadov was killed Monday morning as a result of an incident on the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border.
