Armenia Ex-Defense Minister: Today We Face Different Reality
Today is [late defense minister and PM] Vazgen Sargsyan's birthday. Armenia’s former defense minister Seyran Ohanyan on Friday wrote this on Facebook.
"And when we go up to Yerablur [Military Pantheon in Yerevan] to bow down, to incense before the name, the feat of the Supreme Commander, we will remember his heroic path, his powerful, sincere image,… and it is impossible not to remember his [now] abandoned statue in Shushi [Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)].
But today we face a different reality.
And it is our duty to continue the struggle for the existence of Armenians, Armenia and Artsakh, keeping bright forever the memory of Vazgen Sargsyan, our dear departed friends looking at us from this photo, all the brave Armenians who gave their lives for the Homeland," Ohanyan added in part, News.am reports.
