Artur Aghabekyan has been relieved of the post of Chief Advisor to President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Arayik Harutyunyan and will remain as Advisor to the President on a voluntary basis, as reported Spokesperson of the President of Artsakh Lusine Avanesyan.
Lieutenant General Artur Aghabekyan was appointed Chief Advisor to President Arayik Harutyunyan on June 8, 2020. Between 2000 and 2007, he served as Deputy Minister of Defense of Armenia.
