Saakashvili Urged His Supporters in Georgia to Fight Against the Authorities According to the Armenian Scenario
Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, who is in prison in Rustavi, believes that the elections to the self-government bodies in the country were ''rigged''. As reported by IA REGNUM, his letter was read on November 1 by lawyer Nika Gvaramia.
The ex-president said that he was "offended" by the actions of the ruling Georgian Dream party. He called on "self-respecting Georgians" to take action.
"What should we do? There is only one thing - we must make to pay the price that self-respecting peoples make the falsifying authorities pay, we must take the power and make them answer before the law, ”Saakashvili said.
He called on his supporters to repeat the experience of Armenia, when Nikol Pashinyan became prime minister of the country during the protests.
