Second Armenian President Robert Kocharyan issued a message on the 107th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide commemorated on April 24.
The message reads:
"Dear compatriots,
This year we are participating in the commemorations of the 107th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide with a heavier heart. Obviously, today the Armenian statehood is in great danger and the future of Artsakh is seriously threatened.
Today, commemorating the victims of Meds Yeghern, we must prepare for a struggle for the freedom of our homeland, a decent life for our children and dignified peace.”
