The main opposition Hayastan faction in the Armenian parliament started hearings on its draft resolution on Azerbaijan's blockade of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) on Friday morning, Panorama reports.

MPs from the ruling Civil Contract faction have boycotted the sitting.

Ahead of the debates, Hayastan faction head Seyran Ohanyan asked lawmakers to hold a minute’s silence to pay tribute to all victims of the Artsakh wars.

Archbishop Mikael Ajapahyan offered a prayer.

The Lachin Corridor, the only connection between Artsakh and Armenia, has remained blocked by Azerbaijan for nearly two months.
