"Uncertainty and complexity are capable of putting an end to the era of international cooperation and economic integration that has begun since 1989". This challenge will face the World Economic Forum in Davos this year.

On January 21-24, the annual economic forum will be held in Davos, Switzerland. The key topics of the Forum are – the growing strategic competition between countries, geopolitical struggle, decrease in trust between the private institutions and the public, rise of the level of unemployment among youth, income inequality, etc. The Forum of this year is marked with the preservation of racial balance among the co-chairs: half of them will be white, while the rest will belong to other race.

The expectations form the Economic Forum in Switzerland this year is higher than ever. This is, maybe, because of the political instability of the world and the latest religious clashes. A proof to this is the summing up of the results of a research done by Oxfam charity organization. According to this organization, the world wealth is gradually being concentrated "in the hands of small rich elite", reports The Independent.

Davos World Economic Forum is an international institution that every year organizes meetings of businessmen, political leaders and other public entities. According to the tradition the meetings are being held in January in the city Davos, Switzerland. The founder of the institution is Klaus Shvab.

The Forum for the first time was held in 1971 the topic of the discussion being issues concerning management. Nevertheless, the scope of the topics for discussion very soon became larger and already since 1974 it has included political topics. It should be reminded that last year Armenia did not participate in the Forum. Whether our country will participate this year or not and what the results of the Forum will be, "Armedia" IAA will refer later.
