Russian presidents Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation which lasted for 30 minutes, reports Zaman news agency.
The call was initiated by the president of Turkey.
During telephone conversation the two leaders among other topics also discussed the Armenian Genocide. On the occasion Recep Tayyip Erdogan noted that Turkey was for just memory, but Armenia ignored Turkey’s call for peace and did not give its consent to form a commission of historians.
Other topics discussed by the two presidents during the telephone conversation included "Turkish Stream" gas project, developments in Ukraine etc. On the occasion Turkish president informed about his plans to visit Ukraine.
