On March 19 the UN Security Council meeting will take place where the situation in Crimea will be discussed. Russia has declared that it will not attend the meeting, as it considers the meeting "provocative," Sputnik reports.
"The Russian delegation will not attend the meeting, and, as far as we are concerned, delegations from some other countries won't either," - the statement of the Official Moscow said.
In such meetings, where only exchange views on the topic of the day is done, the presence of the UN member state delegation is not obligatory.
