New Reform Plan to Be Drafted for Greece

Greek PM Alexis Tsipras, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and other European leaders held marathon talks in Brussels. After the meeting, which lasted for more than three hours, EU leaders suggested Greece coming up with a new reform plan within days in order to prevent bankruptcy. In the same meeting EU leaders agreed to keep sanctions on Russia till the end of the year, BBC reports.

Merkel described the meeting as "good and constructive". According to her the Greek government has to take responsibility for the reforms and submit it as soon as possible. Tsipras in his tern also was very optimistic about the meeting. According to him all the sides are trying to do their best to overcome the difficulties of the Greek economy. Creditors of Greece suggested extending €240 billion bailout until the end of June.
