The UK congratulated Benjamin Netanyahu for winning the parliamentary elections. As the Guardian reports, the spokesperson of the Prime Minister of UK had a telephone conversation with Netanyahu and after congratulating him, told Netanyahu that the UK thinks the two-state solution is the best way for achieving long-term security.
Earlier the Prime Minister of UK David Cameron speaking in the Commons said that pressure should be put both on Israel and Palestine to restart negotiations on two-state solution.
