On March 23, cultural week entitled "Armenia. Identity and memory" on the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide kicked off. It was organized by the Embassy of Armenia in Italy, in cooperation with Associazione Italiana di Sociologia-Religione (AIS) and Istituto Centrale per i Beni Sonori ed Audiovisivi (ICBSA), mfa.am reports.
Seminars and conferences on the history and civilization of the Armenian people, culture, evidence of the Armenian Genocide and impact of the Armenian Genocide on the identity of the Armenian people, Armenians in Italy, current geopolitical situation of Armenia are scheduled to be discussed during the Armenian week (from March 23 through March 28).
