Trade relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia is going to slow down. Trade turnover between the countries in January and February are estimated to be $146.6 million, which is 21.9% less than the same period of 2014. Georgia imported products estimated to $100.7 million from Azerbaijan, which shown that imports fell by 15%, Azernews reports.
Azerbaijan cut its imports from Georgia about 40% in first two months of 2015. Georgia exported goods to the neighboring country worth of $45.9 million, which is 14.2% of overall country’s export on the beginning of the year. There is a decrease of export by $28.6 to the detriment of Georgia. The imported goods from Georgia are cars, cattle, cement, steel reinforcement, etc.
