April 19-26 declared as a week for commemorating the memory of Armenian Genocide victims in the US Nevada State, the press service of the RA Foreign Ministry informs.
The corresponding declaration was signed by Governor Brian Sandoval. A similar declaration was made by the Lieutenant Governor, President of the Senate of Nevada Mark Hutchison.
The two declarations call on the Nevada State and the Congress to recognize the atrocities committed against the Armenian people and make Turkey recognize the historical fact.
