The authorities of Greece have refuted the information about the intention to declare default for the sake of making pressure on the creditors, Reuters reports.

"Greece is not going to declare a default, as well as our creditors. Negotiations are continuing, the parties hope to reach a mutually acceptable solution as quickly as possible," - the statement says.

Earlier the Financial Times informed that Greece is going to declare default in case of failure of the negotiations with international creditors till the end of April.
