Worldwide Tourism Records

The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has announced that total exports of international tourism recorded $1.5 trillion in 2014. According to UNWTO report for 2014,  the decrease of commodity prices proves the sector’s capacity to stimulate economic growth, boost exports and create job, Presstv reports.

The total number of tourist arrivals around the world rose by 4.4% in 2014. According to the data Europe earns 41% of worldwide international tourism receipts - $509 billion. America increased its receipts to $274 billion, Asia and the Pacific areas reached $377 billion in 2014. Middle East reached the tourism receipts to $49 billion and Africa increased to $36 billion.
