The presidents of Azerbaijan and France, Ilham Aliyev and Francois Hollande, discussed in Baku the situation on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Hollande arrived in Baku on Friday evening on a brief working visit after visiting Armenia.
President Ilham Aliyev "expressed satisfaction with the activity of Francois Hollande in the settlement of the Karabakh conflict”, TASS reports.
The countries have also expressed interest in expanding ties, noting that there is a great opportunity for this.
A letter of intent to set up an Azerbaijani-French university was signed after the talks.
