Mark Carney, the governor of the Bank of London has announced that cheap foreign labor has not damaged UK economic productivity, BBC reports. He also added that more and more UK people are willing to work long hours and this is what impacts the labor force rather than migrant labor. According to him, the UK should hold a referendum if the country wants to leave the Union.
The labor force has increased by over 500,000, because many old people willing to work and some others would like to work more hours. This is 10 times more than immigration.
