Europe Needs Alternative "Northern" Route of Gas Deliveries from Russia
Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic declared that Europe should have "southern" route of gas deliveries from Russia except the "northern" one. After the talk with Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, he added that the country had only one delivery rout for the Russian gas, which is running through the territory of Ukraine. The current Ukrainian or "northern" route is expected to be closed in the coming years, SputnikNew reports.
Ivica Dacic said that Belgrade has certain interests and it is going to join the project to deliver Russian gas to southern Europe via Turkey through the "Turkish Stream" or "Southern" route.
