SYRYZA party leader and Greek Prime-minister Alexis Tsipras announced during a conference, that the salaries and pension payments of the Greek will not be affected by the financial agreements, Euronews reports.
Head of the givernment underlined, that the Athens will fulfill its obligations, meanwhile expecting for the foreign partners to act correspondingly. They will be ready to sign new agreements with the creditors, but will never make cuts on pensions.
The Athens try to reach agreement with the Troika of creditors (EU, ECB, IMF) on providing additional financial support in exchange for reforms. The last round of negotiations passed on May 11 and did not give an outcome.
