Greenback is getting back to its weakened position against other currencies. Dollar has declined by 7 percent versus the euro and 6 percent versus the British pound since mid-April, CNN reports.

U.S. currency strategists are divided in two groups. One group supports the idea that the U.S. dollar will get weaker than it is expected. Their prediction is based on the issue whether the U.S. Federal Reserve will raise interest rate later in this year.

The other group’s estimations and predictions are based on the idea that the European economy is recovering, so the issue is all about that the euro is strengthening and the dollar is weakning.
