The director of the National Iranian Gas Company’s Liaison Office, Azizollah Ramezani, declared that Iran was considering five or six different routes to deliver gas to Europe after Western sanctions against the Islamic Republic are lifted, Sputnik News reports.
"But these routes need to be studied according to norms; the economic cost efficiency should be examined in order to choose the best route."
"There may be a common field, for example in the area of gas pipelines…In the future Iranian gas pipelines could possibly reach Europe and Russian gas pipelines to Europe may be joined and deliver gas together to Europe," added Ramezani.
