The Palestinian unity government resigned. This was declared by Nimr Hammad, an adviser to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, The Jeruslem Post reports.
"(Prime Minister Rami) Hamdallah handed his resignation to Abbas and Abbas ordered him to form a new government," said Hammad.
However, Fatah officials denied this report, saying that talks between the two sides have not concluded.
