The Memorials Committee at Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Church in Chelmsford has launched a Remembrance Bench Project giving the descendants of Genocide victims an opportunity to memorialize their family members, who died during the Genocide, Armenian Weekly reports.
The Remembrance Benches will be added to Sts. Vartanantz Genocide Memorial and the names of the Genocide victims will be written. As the source reports, each Genocide victim’s name will be engraved for a donation of $100.
