Greece Wants a Referendum for a New Bailout

A crisis meeting is being held between Greece’s creditors and Greek Finance Minister after Athens declared about a referendum for a new bailout to be held on July 5, BBC reports.

As the current bailout expires on Tuesday, creditors are expected to address a Greek request to extend that bailout until the vote is completed.

As the source reports, queues have formed outside banks in Athens, as people fear Greece's central bank might start restricting withdrawals.
