"Our thoughts are with the people affected and with our personnel. Italy will not let itself be intimidated," Italy's Foreign Minister wrote on his Twitter, The Independent reports.
He wrote this tweet after an explosion near the Italian Consulate in Egypt, which killed one person, injured several and severely damaged the building. No Italian has been killed.
