The president of Iran Hassan Rouhani declared that the deal was a political victory for Iran and it also means that the country would no longer be perceived as an international threat, Al Jazeera reports.
"No one can say Iran surrendered. The deal is a legal, technical and political victory for Iran. It's an achievement that Iran won't be called a world threat any more," Rouhani said.
He also added that the deal is not something perfect, but the compromises were necessary.
