On Saturday demonstrations by Kurds and Kurdish organizations were held in Paris, Brussels, Berlin, Cologne, demanding an end to the Turkish army’s bombarding of the positions of the PKK in Syria and Iraq, Euronews reports.
Hundreds of Kurds marched through the streets of the French capital. The representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Council in Paris said:
"Turkey needs to change, to stop its anti-Kurdish policy because behind it other threats that exist in the region, such as the group "Islamic State" are hidden. This policy hinders the peace in the Middle East, the peace in Turkey, all the nations living in Turkey. "
