Egypt Tightens Measures to Combat Terrorism

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi approved tougher measures to fight against terrorism in the country, BBC reports.

The move was a response of the Egyptian authorities to the activation of the Islamist groups.

Under the new law, those found guilty of organizing and leading a terrorist group, will face death penalty or a life sentence.

For a participation in terrorist activities the person will be send to 10 years in prison.
