Demonstrators Tried to Break into Ukraine's Parliament
A group of demonstrators outside Ukraine's parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, tried to break into the building on Monday after Rada's approval in the first reading of President Petro Poroshenko's proposed constitutional amendments on decentralization, RIA Novosti correspondent reported.
The demonstrators were stopped by law enforcement, using tear gas against the crowd, Sputnik News reports.
According to the RIA Novosti correspondent, demonstrators in their turn threw a smoke pellet in front of the parliament's building.
