In September 27 elections of Catalonia, the parties advocating the idea of separating from Spain, will be able to obtain an absolute majority in the local parliament, but at the same time less than 50% of the voters will participate in the elections, the opinion polls of Center JM&A say, RIA Novosti reported.
According to the study, separatist forces will be able to gain 48.8% of the vote, which with the current proportional representation system would allow them to receive 73 mandates.
