In a televised interview on September 22 President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that he launched the settlement process to end the three-decade-old Kurdish issue, but it was the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) that ended the process, Hurriyet reports.
According to Erdogan the PKK backs the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP).
