The Presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan, Vladimir Putin and Nursultan Nazarbayev signed a protocol on the delimitation of the seabed of the Caspian sea, news.rin.ru reports.
According to the Protocol changes are introduced to the agreement between Russia and Kazakhstan on delimiting the Northern part of the Caspian sea to implement sovereign rights for subsoil use dated July 6, 1998.
According to the Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov this document regulates the issues of the joint development of the Tsentralnaya oil-bearing structure.
