Օn October 16 the UN Security Council will hold an emergency meeting on the situation in Israel, gazeta.ru reports citing the France-Presse.
According to a diplomat of one of the participating countries of the Council, the meeting is convened with Jordan’s request.
Since October 1 as a result of clashes between Israelis and Palestinians in Jerusalem and around the Gaza Strip, about 40 people have been killed. In addition, nearly 2 thousand Palestinians and more than 80 Israelis were injured.
