Kakha Kaladze, the Minister of Energy of Georgia said that "Gazprom" offers cheaper gas to Georgia than Azerbaijan. According to him, in the case of purchase of that natural gas Georgia will balance its deficit, which cannot be done with the prices of "SOCAR", the "Georgia Online" reports.
"I will refrain from figures and will not voice them, but I can say that the price is lower than the one we get from Azerbaijan. These prices are quite competitive, and we have presented these prices to "SOCAR", we told them that we are absolutely open to proposals . Tomorrow we will have a meeting with the "SOCAR", and will make a statement after that," Kaladze said.
