Lavrov: the Level of Relations Between Russia and West Lower than During the Cold War
The level of interaction between Russia and the Euro-Atlantic structures is lower than during the Cold War, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said, speaking at the Munich Security Conference, RIA Novosti reports.
"I think it is clear that the extreme complexity of the intertwined crises, expanding conflict space requires coordinated teamwork. However, in the way of collective efforts artificial barriers arise, such as NATO’s and the EU’s denial to cooperate with Russia, creation of the image of enemy," the Minister said.
